Abstract: This session will explore best practices for getting started with your Oracle Database cloud service (DBaaS), a dedicated virtual machine for running an Oracle database instance with pre-installed database software, full Oracle net access and full administrative root OS and SYSDBA access to manage your database, along with new cloud tools for simpler management. This session will include real life examples as well as live demonstrations and best practices for creating a database cloud service instance, accessing the database using Oracle SQL Developer and monitoring your DBaaS.
