Modern web applications are based on hundreds or thousands microservices running in containers orchestrated by Kubernetes.
This session introduces the microservices concepts, integration and interactions (Event sourcing, CQRS). Then discusses database provisionning and access, data models, data domains, persistence, transaction models inluding local transactions as well as distributed transactions (and the SAGA pattern). Finally, the session will discuss suggestions for breaking monolithic applications into microservices including: bounded contexts and schema unentanglement, and other MicroServices Best Practices.
