Abstract: BlockChain implementations can be difficult, because the driving technologies are immature. Although the technologies are relatively new, they have had proven success in unregulated digital currency, aka. Bitcoin. This presentation provides a practical overview of BlockChain, bridging the gap between reality and the hype. Participants will learn about BlockChain technologies, industry leaders and trends. Architects and designers will benefit from a deeper understanding of the taxonomy BlockChain and architectural concepts. We will discuss both private BlockChains public BlockChains.
