Session ID: 109010

Abstract: JD Edwards environments can be exposed to risk by using outdated security standards and configurations regarding SSL 3.0/TLS 1.0/TLS1.1. This leaves passwords without encryption which open the door for malicious software to steal a password. Learn how to enable highly secure protocols and disable legacy protocols for both PY and PD environments. Attendees will be shown a case study of using Weblogic 12G while reusing an existing Wild Card certificate to secure a JD Edwards environment using the latest security protocols; and what kind of impact this upgrade will have on performance.

Objective 1: Learn about the latest HTTPS security protocols for JD Edwards

Objective 2: Understand the related risks of using out-dated protocols for both PD and PY environments

Objective 3: Case study demonstration of how to apply latest protocols to JD Edwards environment
