Abstract: With many organizations approaching an upgrade of a new HR system, the HR organization must decide between on-premise HR/Payroll system versus moving to cloud. Either approach has its risks and reward. Organizations often look to make investments in technology in order to provide their employees with resources that will increase productivity, optimize business efficiencies and manage and mitigate risk. This is an attempt to carefully evaluate the business case for moving to HCM cloud and establishing the criteria for successful transition and technology enabled transformation.
